Reflection March 13

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:8-10

The Word of life is near and not far off,

Who frees us from all guilt and shame.

The Word at which so many scoff.

This Word in faith that we today proclaim.

Confessing with our mouths that He is Lord,

Believing in our hearts He has been raised,

Proclaiming to the world this saving Word,

Delighting in the One who should be praised.

So we reflect as people now restored.

Adopted brothers, sisters of our Lord.
